The Consulate General in Guangzhou accepts visa applications from foreign citizens residing in the provinces of Guangdong, Fujian, Hainan, Hunan, Jiangxi, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Schengen visa applications (Type C) can be submitted at one of the following visa application centers by appointment:
GUANGZHOU Room 902-903, 9th Floor, GAL Tower, No. 78 Pazhou Avenue, Haizhu District (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
SHENZHEN Unit 2301, Floor 23, East Tower, C Future City, No. 9285 Binhe Avenue, Futian District (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
FUZHOU Room 1405, Floor 14, Liyu Bund Centre, No. 363 Middle Jiangbin Blvd., Taijiang District (Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
CHANGSHA 1F, Changsha Rongchuang Steigenberger Hotel, No. 3-9, Xueyuan Road (Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm)

Visa applications must be submitted at least 15 days before the scheduled departure.
Family members of Italian citizens and EU/EEA/Swiss citizens may submit their visa applications directly at the Consulate General in Guangzhou. Appointments can be scheduled preferably two days in advance by sending an email to visti.canton@esteri.it with the subject “visa for EU family member”. Office hours as follows:
From Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am
Tuesday and Thursday from 14.30 pm to 15.30 pm
National visa applications (type D) are submitted directly at the Consulate General in Guangzhou by appointment. Appointments can be requested through the Prenot@mi portal, making sure to carefully follow the instructions on the home page and select the correct visa type.
